• Question: what would happen if you drink hydrochloric acid

      Hydrochloric acid is a very dangerous substance, it’s corrosive and even inhaling it is harmful. Drinking it would be a very serious problem because it would make small holes all the way from the mouth down to the stomach.

      Also, your stomach already contains all the hydrochloric acid it needs in order to do its job! It’s one of the things your body makes in order to digest food, but because (As Sara says) it’s corrosive, its production is carefully controlled by your stomach lining.

      Very dangerous thing to do, will basically destroy your abdomen and organs.
