Clinical medicine is not really a good description of what I study since I study genetics and the immune system, but my university has a bunch of different degrees and put me in that one. I was interested in going to medical school in high school, but while I was doing my undergrad I realized it was more fun finding/making treatments instead of applying them so I decided to do research. I was interested in cancer immunotherapy (how your immune system can fight cancer) in high school, so I decided to study immunology in undergrad and the rest is history!
