      Great question! Yes it is! Hearing loss and cognitive decline often occur together, with untreated hearing loss in middle to old age increasing the risk of dementia development later on. That’s why it’s important for us to recognize and treat hearing loss as early as we can- whether that’s with hearing aids/cochlear implants or with something new!
