      Yes! I’ve worked other jobs in the private sector and didn’t enjoy going to work every day as I couldn’t really see how it benefited anyone. It’s nice knowing that the work I do eventually makes a difference to someone’s life, though that can increase the pressure. While the NHS can be stretched at times, they are a great employer for providing lots of training and making learning and developing a priority. (You also get NHS discounts sometimes so that’s nice…)
